$1.5 Billion Spent On Search Engine Marketing?

According to to survey conducted by Search Engine Land, a site that attracts readers that control about 15% of the global market for search advertising, at least $1.5 billion is spend annually.

I would guess that good number of those surveyed are affiliate marketers who drive traffic to their website using pay per click campaigns.
