One of my previous in this category was focused on using permaliks settings for a WordPress website. In order to use customized sttings for permalinks you will either need to have access to so called .htaccess files or find a host (if don’t already have one), that will offer you instalation of WordPress, genrally via “fantastico” scripts or other scripts. Following hosting providers are reccomended by WordPress website: Bluehost, AN Hosting, Yahoo! Web Hosting, DreamHost and Laughing Squid.

You may find out that a particular web hosting provider does not have the latest verstion of WordPress. You can always visit WordPress for the latest version and upgrade it yourself.
