IE 7 And Affiliate Links

January 11, 2007 – 6:55 pm

IE 7After noticing that about 50% of visitors to my sites are using Internet Explorer 7, I decided to go ahead and try it for myself. I am not sure if any one else noticed it by now, but it appears that by default IE 7 will continue to show the affiliate links in the status bar even if you used onmouseover/onmouseout attributes in your links. This of course does not matter if you are using php redirects.

Also whenever I try to access this site using IE 7, it takes way too much time to load and sometimes it seams like it is trying to reload the page without my interference. It happened neither in IE 6 nor Firefox. If you are a programing guru I would appreciate your help.
