It wouldn't be as big a deal, but we have a baby, who sleeps quite a bit. My speakers are usually turned up and as bad as it sounds, I'm usually so pissed after visiting a site that does this that I give them a thumbs down with SU and do everything else I can to let them know they pissed me off :) I’ve gotten probably 5-10 spam emails in the past few weeks on this, so it must have a killer affiliate program :)

It sounds like it could be a viable option for some niches, but like Mark, I can’t stand visiting a site that starts talking to me without my permission.

I would never put the widget on my blog. However if you thin about a lightly bigger news website it can be very easily implemented without a major blow to the audience. I am not quiet sure if an ad is played for each unique visitor. I would hope so. Otherwise it would be extremely annoying. The code also has a keyword argument.
