I have been using EzineArticles. I am not so sure how to employ e-mail marketing, especially for affiliate sites that sometimes have nothing else but products displayed via datafeeds.

yes, i’m refering to email list.

there are many ways to get targeted and qualified visitors to your site. for example, article marketing can be very effective.

I am not putting much hope in Alexa. I realiaze that achieving high will not increase thu actual traffic to my sites, unless of course you can get on “movers adn shakers” list, but then how qualified my visitors would be?

I am guessing when you talk about “list” you mean the “e-mail list”?

i found your blog through scott jangro’s affiliate blog lists.

i think it’s admirable to want to achieve a high alexa ranking.
i used to want to do that too (and still do).

although i think from a business perspective, you might want to focus more on building a list (you’ll get massive leverage there) and income monetization.

personally i feel those two are stronger metrics than just traffic numbers.
