My New Little Friend

Thanks to Sam and his new Affiliate Fortune Cookies, I have just discovered CJ Firefox Extension, which was developed almost a year ago by Fraser.

Nice thing about this little friend of mine is that it shows me the current earning from CJ right in the status bar of my FireFox:

Thank you both Same and Fraser. Any idea if similar widgets exist for LinkShare and ShareASale?

    This is nifty – now all I need to do is actually make some money with my CJ partners :)

    ahh, whats CJ?

    sometimes (no offense) i dont understand websites when they write articles assuming everyone knows the topic… when its the people wanting to learn about that topic who are most likely reading…

    case in point, how many people like me just left, not knowing what you were talking about? but if you explained what it is, and why the extension helps, it would be a much better article for people like myself. :)

    just my $.02, and two cents isnt much these days lol.

    @Zorn.

    Sorry, you right I should have been more descriptive what CJ is. I just simply presumed that majority of my regular readers would understand what CJ is. The extension shows you the current earnings without need to be logged into your Commission Junction account. By the way the comment prior to yours seem to indicate that Mark is aware what CJ is.

    yeah, the more i thought about it, the more I thought “maybe i am nitpicking here.” :) I just know that a lot of times, non bloggers find websites, and have no idea what digg.com is, or social bookmarking, or any of the other things common to us netgeeks. Sometimes I wonder if that is part of the reason certain things dont hit the mainstream… they get to a point where 'newbies' are just lost as to what is going on, so they leave. hmm… gives me ideas on some blog posts. :)

    nice blog btw.

    Thanks Zorn,

    I actually agree with you. I am way to neglectful when it comes to majority of posts here. You right, if a person unfamiliar with affiliate marketing would read this post, they would never know what I was talking about. Thanks for stopping by.

    Fraser, this extension is great… especially when you one sees the numbers change at least few times a day lol…. I really would love to have something similar at least for LinkShare.
