NY Mets, Cardinals, Business and Pleasure.

It always has been said that business and pleasure do not mix well. I do not know who invented this saying, and even though many people say this I can bet that there are no person today that wen to work and did not mention last night baseball game. Yes I am talking about game between Cardinals and NY Mets. Although I am do not know much about baseball, I grew up playing more soccer than anything else. In fact I did not know that baseball existed until I was about 21 years old. I do find it fascinating how Americans love their sports, and how much do they achieve in sports. Lets consider soccer for a moment, few years back no one in the world would consider US team as a viable contender in the world cup. Even though last cup proved not to be so successful, US team has definitely have become one of the worlds leading teams.

Now lets go back to NY Mets, Cardinals and “mixing pleasure with business”. To all the Mets fans, there is next year, what can I say things happen. To Cardinals fans, congratulation.

NY MetsIf you where watching last night’s game, have you consider of how many people where watching it as well? At least 50 thousands in the stadium itself and few millions across the country? I have a friend who probably made few hundred dollars selling blankets and beach towels like you see in the image to the right. Now, he does it just a hobby an does not even have his own website and uses some one else’s website to sell some blankets. Now I know that that hobby can make him some real money and bring him a descent amount amount of pleasure along the way.

So before you ever say that business and pleasure do not mix, think again. Many business deals where made while playing golf, fishing, hunting and even vacationing.
