Subscribe Feed (RSS)Updating to WordPress 2.1
January 29th, 2007 by Vlad | Filed under Other (Fom Old Blog).The most recent update of WordPress proved to be more difficult than I anticipated. In the past I have been using Lowstream (with some major modifications) theme for my blog, and after updating the WordPress the older version of the theme proved to non-functional. I was at the point of completely switching to “default” theme of WordPress which seams to be working well all the time. Fortunately Lowstream have updated their version of the theme. This time around I have chosen to make least possible modifications to save me some time in the future. This actually proved to be a good choice since so far it looks that my site is much faster while I still was able to retain the feel and look of my website from few days ago.
I guess my major goal with this recent update was to preserve the feel an look of my website. Do you think I have done it?
