You’re quite welcome. As for your video, I definitely enjoyed it. I especially liked the Vlad vs. Vlad III The Impaler addition. That was great! Video adds an additional element that really gets peoples’ attention and I think yours was done quite well.

I just started including audio with some of my posts and plan to add video as soon as I get a camcorder I like. Anyway, thanks for the visit!

Hi Rob,

I personally wish I could have tried a few camcorders before purchasing. I was lucky enough to change my mind before Amazon return policy expired.

The other reason I went with MiniDV camera was that all the higher end camcorders they all use MiniDV.

There is of course downside with miniDV when it comes to transferring your videos to your computer. It takes as much time to transfer to you computer as it takes you to record the video. Also DV format takes a lot of space. A 5 minutes video can take about 1 GB of space in DV format.

Honestly I thing buying a car was much easier than buying a camcorder.

Hi Vlad – Thanks for explaining. I actually got a cheaper Sony than the one you got. I’ve not used it much since I got it. I did notice it picked out some great detail at points, but then reacted very badly to natural light. I would be wanting to do quite a bit of editing, so I think I’ll be testing that soon having read your comments.
