It has been a while since last time I’ve logged into my Amazon associate account. I still can figure out why amazon is one of the lowest performing merchant for me. My suppressions boil down to one thing- 24 hours cookie life. But I do have a sale here and there with Amazon.
If you have not been to your account for a while, you need to check out the latest updates in your accounts interface. I am sure that the first thing you will notice is a snippet of your current earnings on the right. There are currently only two options there: month to date earnings and previous day earnings- which you can check without navigating away from the front page of your account.
But what really got my attention is the menu on the upper left side of the page. Which allows to manage your tacking IDs. Up until today I had only one tracking ID with Amazon. I am not even sure if in the past they offered multiple tracking IDs or not. It was actually one of the reasons I never put much effort into Amazon program, tracking wise I often found myself in the midsts of nightmare using just one tracking ID. I think now I may be even doing more things with Amazon associate program, now if they only increased the life of their cookies to 7 days.
