It seams that there is a considerable amount of fear of “click fraud” out there. How serious is this fraud and should we be scared of it?
If you thinks about failures in conventional media advertising and compare it to “click fraud” there is more reason to fear traditional advertising shortcomings. Just think how much so called “junk” mail we throw away every single day? Well some one paid for it. How many times you witnessed a TV commercial being cut short? I can tell you that TV advertising is a little more expensive that on line advertising.
The good news is that search engines are working to cut down so called invalid clicks, no one bothers to ask me why am I throwing out a piece of junk mail.
Or maybe all the fear about click fraud is being created by conventional media? Just think what kind of money they have lost or couldn’t put their hands on.
