According to Inside AdWords, Google is working on a new product that will allow advertisers to air their ads over the radio. Currently Google is beta testing new feature of Google Audio Ads with select advertising. Google Promises efficiency, accountability and enhanced ROI when it comes to radio advertising. Advertisers will be offered opportunity to target potential clients by station type, location, day of the week, and time of day and you will be able to view reports and stats on line.
It is yet to see how advertisers will respond to this new product. I personally look forward to learn more about the new product. Using it? Unless the radio listeners will have a way to “respond” to my as quickly and as easy as when thy browsing the Internet.
But this can be a great idea for business who do their business over the phone as much as over the Internet. Also local new business without website can greatly benefit from this new feature without a big expense of a traditional radio advertising.
No matter what the results will be, this new feature sets big G yet one more step ahead the competition. Will it also come with a new name PPP (pay per play)?
