In March of 2006, after an attempt of promoting web hosting providers, and realizing how competitive this field was I have decide to look for merchant with less lucrative commissions and hopefully less competitive niche. It was round that time that BeddigStyle has joined Commission Junction as well and was still listed under new advertisers. After placing few banners and creating several landing pages, I was able to produce a sale that resulted in whooping $120 commission! This was very good learning experience for me because it helped me to realize that in order to make money as an affiliate I did not need to pick the merchants with the most lucrative commissions. While my first sale did not replicate again, I was content of making sales that resulted in $10-$30 but on the more frequent “schedule” than the sales from promoting web hosting providers.
About BeddingStyle.
BeddingStyle is an online retailer of bedding and linens by the leading designers such as Nicole Miller, Tommy Hilfiger, Laura Ashley, Manor Hill and others. BeddingStyle’s website went live in September of 2004.
Affiliate Commission.
In order to earn affiliate commission with BeddingStyle that customer must complete an online purchase within BeddingStyle’s shopping chart. This advertiser offers 30 day return cookie and commission is 8% of the order’s total not including shipping and handling.
Keywords and PPC promotion.
BeddingStyle encourages paid advertising in search engines and provides you with about 100 keywords. While currently there are not restriction on the use of keywords for this advertiser, you may find difficult to bid on certain keywords on Google, Yahoo and MSN due to the trademark restrictions.
Program Highlights.
BeddingStyle offers free shipping on purchases of $25 and over. From time to time BeddingStyle offers free shipping on all orders, so you would need to be on top of the ongoing promotions should you decide to join their affiliate program.
Datafeed Solutions.
Neither DataFeedFile nor GoldenCan provide datafeed solutions for BeddingStyle at this time. It is unknown if BeddingStyle datafeed solutions are available outside the Commission Junction. This of course may change in the future as their affiliate program grows bigger.
