So you are ready to create you first web site? Looking for domain names? Great! I am not sure if you realize, but you are on the site with a worst possible domain. Why? It’s neither short or easy to remeber. As my have guessed this domain is a combination of my first and last names. Why is my domain bad? Well as mentioned before it’s long and and hard to remeber. Unless you are building a company that will be named afer you it is not a good idea to use your name for your website’s domain. And I beg you, if your name is any close to mine, do not use it as your domain name.
If possible, choose a domain name that will reflaect the nature of your site. This maybe done with combination of keywords associated with service and product your company offers. Let me show you an example so you can see what am I talking about. I described my web site simply “Pay Per Click Advertising and Affiliate Marketin”. Now lets look at the domain name: http://www.volodymyrzablotskyy.com. Did some one hear of it? No. Could some one remeber it? Ptobably not, unless you are for eastern europe. But just presume my domain was http://www.payperclick-affiliate.com. It is long I grant you that, but it is much easier to remeber and most important in contains 4 keywords for wich I am optimising my site!
