Unfortunately I do not have clear answer about the question in the title of this blog. Never the less yesterday I have installed WP-PageNavi (I have updated to Digg Like Pagination Plugin since) plugin on my blog. If you look at the footer of the main page of my blog, you will notice a row of links to the pages of my blog. I was hesitant about installation of this plugin but after a little research which involved looking at other blogs there might be a good argument in favor of this plugin. If your use WrodPress chances are that the page rank for pages in your blog (yourdomain.com/page/1 and so on) drop considerably after. In my case “page/3″‘s PR is 0.
I believe I might be using similar plugin to what Problogger is using (see the image) (undate: since writing this post I have changed to Digg-Like Pagination Plugin, it looks much nicer). If you can browse through Darren’s blog you will notice that these pages retain rather high PR up to “page/5” and then “page/6” PR goes down to 0.
I have chosen to show all available pages on my blog, probably under inspiration of Businesses Opportunities Blog. You can see that Dane had listed all his pages as well and unlike Problogger his first page that is ranked at 0 is “page/237”, and only 16 blog pages out of 250 have no PR yet. The rest of the pages rank with PR 5 and PR 4.
I know this plugin will create tons of duplicate links around my blog but will they contribute to overall “Juice Flow”? I wish either Darren or Dane would notice my blog and provide me with an answer. Otherwise I will have to wait through few PR updates to find an answer to this question.
PS. Here is another “Digg-Like” pagination plugin. I initially tried to install it on my blog but it did not work now it works perfectly. Not being able to understand the Spanish I decided to go with WP-PageNavi instead.
Vlad, you've already got some decent google juice for this blog.
The other side of improving your google juice with experimentation is killing it.
I would sit tight and exploit the juice you already have.
2cents 4ya
lol
Mark that was probably the fastest comment I have ever recieved on my blog. I am gald you understood my ramblings. I am looking at this post and thinking what the hell I just wrote?
Anyway, I am not sure how this will affect my blog, I guess I need to wait a few days or maybe untill the next update.
I just founded interesting that even blogs like Shoemoney have PR 0 after page/5 or so, while Dane over at Business-Opportunities has so many archived pages with PR 4 and PR 5.
Oh well. We all make mistakes here and there.

Sorry my english.
Why “Wp-Like” pagination plugin did not work?
What error shows you?
@Victor.
It did not show any error. As a matter of fact it shwoed nothing. I think it may be due to the fact that you are using a Spanish Version of core files on your wordpress. I noticed that plugin had “pagina” instead of “page”. I liked the look of it but after installing it it did not do anything.

Yeah they make perfect sense. I just see how good you rank for some terms and hope you keep ranking 😉
“and hope you keep ranking”
except for “email marketers forum”,
lol
@Mark
I think if I continue doing things I have done in the past it should not hurt me that badl, and may even prove to be benefitial. Look those links are not outgoing. The pages already exist and are indexed.
I notice that the terms this blog ranks for has more to do with incoming links. I would probably put 95% ratio on incoming links rather than onsite optimization.
On the other hand I am seeing some significant improvements in Yahoo and MSN. So doing this I also keep in mind these two as well.

It looks like creator of Digg Like pagination plugin has translated the page to English:

It definitely looks better than the lester chan's pagination plugin. I will give this a shot; thanks for the tip!
