PRWeb has been and is one of the best methods of promoting my business. I just found this video that explains it in “plain English” what PRWeb is all about:

Cool explanation, and overly clear 😉 But do you think it will also be useful outside of the US?
PRWeb serves international clients as well. I have friends from UK that use it extensively.

PR Distribution is brilliant. Anytime you can simplify the process of distributing content to a vast audience the better.

Vlad – that video post was very helpful to me. I have been thinking about using PR web for awhile, but have hesitated because I can't seem to do an article about me without sounding like I tooting my own horn. I would like the article to be about something that a consumer would be interested in.
Can you suggest any references to how PR Web could be used as such?
Thank you.

I think there is nothing wrong to have press releases written about you. In real estate you need to brand your name. However when writing a press release for PRWeb, do not think of it as an article. Press releases are meant to announce something “news worthy”- a new agent in your company, your anniversary as a Realtor and even new listing can bee see as a “news worthy” subject.
Also you can look what how other real estate professionals write their press releases:
Press release also allows you to target your local main-stream media outlets.
I found press release via PRWeb to be the most successful out of any other similar service out there.

Hi Vlad,
Re: PRWeb Nice blog – lots of good info here. I see you have mentioned in this thread and several other posts on the site that PRWeb has been very effective for you. Can you clarify? Did you actually make sales from the PRWeb traffic? IMO web traffic is not much unless it results in a positive ROI, from a commercial perspective. I suppose PRWeb can spawn other publicity from additional media sources with an audience interested in the news topic. But again, I find it difficult to measure the results of such publicity unless the prospect/client indicated the media source that attracted them to us.
Thanks, Dom

Dominic,
Yes, I have made sales that I can attribute to PRWeb press releases. In fact my ROI was well over 200%- I think it is exceptional considering the fact that I was promoting my affiliate websites.
However, for me the real benefit from press releases is that I gained multiple high quality links to few of my websites. Also your press release remains archived on PRWeb so you can benefit from incoming traffic an links long after initial “wave” of traffic that comes first few days after the release goes life.
