Skype Has Scored A Touchdown In My End Zone.

Since I last posted about Skype, the service had scored a definite victory in our home. My wife was initially skeptical about Skype, but after few days of calling her friends she asked me to install Skype on her computer as well. But the victory came about few days ago when we’ve decided to ditch the land line. The main issue with the land line number was that it was our main contact number used for the doctors, accountants and just for any application that required our phone number. Fortunately our wireless provider was able to port our land line number to the mobile number so we did not have to go through a headache of notifying everyone about the chandge.

So here are some figures:

Our land line which had an international feature with it, plus two cell phones ran us about $2,500 a year.

Now our two cell phone’s plus the Skype account are projected to set us back about $1,500 a year. A whooping $2,000 saving which of course I plan to use it for my affiliate sites (shhh my wife does not know about it).
