As Your WordPress powered site grows in size and visitors, you will notice that it may also grow in the amount of “undesired” comments. Generally you will get three types of comments on your blog. Comments entered by “robots” (unless you protect your site), comments entered by a human being that may take advantage of your generosity of giving them “backlinks” to their blogs, and people who actually have read your article and have some thing of value to say (either positive or negative). Just a quick note, do not shy from constructive criticism on your website.
I was so excited when I received the very first comment on my blog only to get disappointed due to the fact that the comment was entered by a robot (or maybe a human “spammer”).
This little Math Comment Spam Protection Plugin that I just installed today, meant to protect you against robots and scripts abusing your system. I am very excited about it since before this kept any and all comments for moderation before publishing them on my website.
What this plug-in does is this, before any one submits a comment to your website, he or she will be asked to sum a number in order to prove they are humans, hence Math Comment Spam Protection Plugin.
If you use Akismet, Spam Karma, and Bad Behavior, in combination or alone, you will not have to torture users who want to comment. Believe it or not, there are some very highly intelligent folks out there who suffer from number “problems” and what appears to be a simple math problem is complex to them.
Why make them jump hoops when one or more of these other free plugins will do the work so you don't have to and they don't have to?

Thanks Lorelle,
I will give those plugins try. I never thought adding two one digit numbers would cause a problem to any one.
