Recent update to WordPress 2.1 taught me few things. After updating to new version I havenoticed that the website slowed down considerably and from time to time when posting new articles I would receive an error message with the long URL that generally would end up with /pluggable.php: lineX. Sam over at CostPerNews has e-mailed me that he received a similar error message when commenting on my post.
I believe the errors were due to the fact that some of the plugins needed to be updated. If your blog is giving you same problems chances are that you need to update your plugin this time around. Remember that you can access the web page where you have downloaded the plugin through your WordPress’ interface as shown in the image below:
While there is no guarantee that every single plugin will be updated to comply with WordPress 2.1, in my case (I am using about 12 different plugins) I was lucky enough to find that all plugins were updated. While it was to difficult to pinpoint which plugin did not comply with WP 2.1, updating them all improved things around my blog.
Thanks for that I have been getting the same error as well.
