Today the number of comments on my blog became bigger than number of posts. I will not give away the numbers, since these numbers are nothing to brag about. Nevertheless as of today there are more comments on my blog than posts. To celebrate this occasion and say a special thank you to those who commented on my blog I have installed Top Commentators Plugin. While I do not use “nofollow” in my comments, I have decided to reward those who commented the most on my blog by placing their names/urls on my sidebar because my front page has the highest PR.
Now you see the top ten of them in the sidebar and this post I entirely dedicate to all of them:
- 45n5 (21 commnets)- actually this number is not quite correct since Mark from 45n45 has made other comments using other name. Nevertheless he is on the top of the list. Not only he added much to things I posted on my blog, I also received some nice “link-love” from his blog as well. So who is Mark? He is a superb blogger, excellent programmer and a good sport! Take a look at 19pages– a website building script he made. You can create a 19 pages website with this widget under 30 minutes.
- Andy Beard comes in the second place with 14 comments as well as some link-love from his blog. I highly recommend all my readers to subscribe to Andy’s blog. It was because of him that my eyes were opened to the nature of “nofollow” demon. Andy has compiled a nice list of Nofollow-Follow related plugins. On his blog you will find tons of information on the topics related to blogging and niche marketing.
- Scott Jangro is in the third place with 8 comments and some link love from his blog. Scott is the owner and mastermind behind BumpZee! An Affiliate Marketing Community. Joining BumpZee! helped me to make some good connections, learn from the best affiliates and even get some extra traffic to my website. As many BumpZees I eagerly anticipate every single update on the website. Everything Scott has came up with was way above any of my expectations. If you are an affiliate BumpZee! is the best community to be member of!
- Sam Harrelson commented 8 times sending some link love from his blog to mine as well. So actually he should be splitting the 3rd place with Scott (sorry Scott). Sam writes and writes and writes about affiliate marketing. Just go over to his blog and you will see that this man is mad about affiliate marketing. Don’t forget to subscribe to his feed as well.
- Carsten Cumbrowski commented 7 times on my blog. On his blog you will find tons of useful information about affiliate marketing.
- Mark from Bloglyne.com commented 6 times. Makes sure to subscribe to his blog as well.
- Andrew Wee commented 4 times
- Shawn Collins commented 4 times
- J.R. Commented 3 times
- Lee commented 3 times
I also would like to thank every body else who commented on my site, your contribution is very appreciated and I thank you for taking your time and write something. While your names are not in the top 10 you still get some credit for your effort, as I said before my comments do not have “nofollow” rule. Thanks again to all of you and happy blogging!
Hi friends i would like your view on my website and any comments appreciated?
do you not all realise that people want to be on the TC list because google sees their links as higher ranked than those not on the list 😉
a bit like mr “printing” there has obviously just posted that comment to get a link and some traffic, good plan if you fall for it 😀
I too like this blog but never thought to comment. By the way, congratulation to the top commentor.
Discus is more efficient in blocking spams compare to the other ones I used! One of my best choice!
