The Prize Goes To Karen From PediaCast

I have promised to announce the winner of my blog contest on Monday, however few projects came up unexpectedly, one of them is painting of our house, which made me set aside my blogging and other online activities.

I have planned originally to announce the winner in an article about my experience running the blog contest, however this article may have to wait a little. If you are interested to learn about my findings stay tuned.

So the winner of the contest is Karen from PediaScribe. If you are a parent the Podcast at PediaScribe may be of great interest to you. Congratulation Karen!

Of course I would also like to thank everyone for participating in the contest. Although there is only one winner, there is something good coming your way as well.

    Congrats Karen! :) Wow Vlad, I just looked at the Contest post. I'd imagine you brought in several more readers. Sounds like a great idea. In my opinion, if I get only 20 or 30 regular viewers that I can retain through a contest, it's worth the $200. I'd imagine, by the response you got from the contest, that you exceeded those figures. Great job on running a successful contest. I believe I'll be running one on my blog soon :)

    I do not think that contest helped me to get 30 readers. I would say I gained about 10 readers via the contest. After creating the contest I was not sure if a $200 was to much to give away. But considering all the factors, $200 was well worthed.
